Born in Brooklyn, NY, Jonathan Logan is a director, photographer, and cinematographer. A graduate of Howard University, he is currently pursuing his MFA in film at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. His visual focus is rooted in an exploration of the Black diasporic experience. Whether through documentation or creative world-building, Jonathan focuses on depicting the nuanced facets of Black life and the people who maintain these traditions. Having been raised in a heavily Afro-Caribbean community. He draws inspiration from the music, art, and histories of this community, along with contemporary American ones, to form his visual world.
